Optiphen is a broad spectrum preservative that prevents yeast, mold and bacteria from growing in our products. We guarantee our product for 6 months against spoilage. We highly recommend washing your hands BEFORE dipping into your lotion jar to prevent inadvertently contaminating your skin care product. Also be sure to replace the lid on your lotion after each use.
Goat milk lotion will melt in hot summer weather so your lotion should not be kept in a window or in your hot car! If you do accidentally melt your lotion, set it in the refrigerator for a few hours and it will be good as new!
